2nd Annual PAL Golf Classic

Join us Thursday, June 27th at the scenic TalonsCove Golf Club in Saratoga Springs for the 2nd annual PAL Golf Classic! Registration is just $75 per player, which includes 18 holes of golf, a cart, and a delicious barbeque lunch. All proceeds go to support PAL programming for youth in South Salt Lake. Mission Statement
South Salt Lake PAL is a positive youth development organization that utilizes educational, athletic and recreational activities to:
- create trust and understanding between police officers and youth
- provide mentoring opportunities to youth
- connect youth with strong and positive role models in the community
- encourage healthy decision making and self-esteem, and
- create and promote community partnerships and involvement.
Programs
- NFL Flag Football - an after school program in the spring and fall for boys and girls, 12-14 years old.
- PAL Mentoring - provides the opportunity to build structured & trusting relationships between young people and caring mentors.
- Street Hockey - events held throughout the summer at various community events.
- TEAM (Together Everyone Achieves More) - an after school program at Granite Park Jr. High, focused on community service & peer leadership initiatives.

- PAL Pete Suazo Boxing Center - youth first participate in an hour of homework and tutoring, then move on to their choice of boxing or various other fitness or arts activities.
- SSL Rec & PAL Baseball - the team competes in inter-league play with other teams throughout the Salt Lake area.
