JUSTICE COURT

Mission Statement      

The mission of the South Salt Lake Justice court is to ensure fair, impartial, and efficient application of the laws of the City of South Salt Lake and the State of Utah. The Justice Court Judge, Manager, and all staff members will perform their duties professionally and respectfully, in an effort to provide exceptional public service on a consistent basis.

Court payments CANNOT be taken by any other city department.

Please direct any electronic filings or other offical court documents to: justicecourt@sslc.com 

**Include a case number or any other identifying information with your attachments. 

The Justice Court now accepts electronic payments.  You will need your citation number or court case number (also known as docket number) to make your payment.  http://www.utcourts.gov/epayments/

Members of the public can now check their warrants online - free of charge.

If you have agreed to attend a traffic safety class as part of your Plea in Abeyance agreement you can obtain information on registering for Defensive Driving presented by the Utah Safety Council by clicking this link: www.utahsafetycouncil.org

FINGERPRINTING SERVICES

The Justice Court is now providing fingerprinting services for the general public.  Walk in appointments for this service are available on Fridays from 8:00 a.m. to Noon.  

There is a $10.00 fee for the printing services which includes up to two fingerprint cards.  Other charges may apply for additonal cards or submissions. Payments must be made to the Finance Department on the 2nd Floor of City Hall before services will be provided.   We look forward to serving the community of South Salt Lake.
